Although the initial buzz of Rescue Run 2017 may have passed, we STILL find ourselves scrolling through photos marked with hashtag #rescuerun5k with a smile. These pictures show happy runners, happy rescued dogs coming back to visit, and happy shelter dogs who will continue to benefit from the work of The Monster Milers because of YOU. Thanks to our participants, supporters, sponsors and donors, 2017's Rescue Run 5k was a great success! Together we raised over 31k!! These funds will directly finance the continuation of our program and the mission of The Monster Milers. Many Rescue organizations and shelters brought adoptable dogs and we are so glad they had a good time! We know of at least THREE adoptions that happened as a result of meet and greets at Rescue Run 5k 2017! Wowza!
The Manayunk Beer Runners may be tired, but they ran for rescue and definitely have something to smile about! Thanks for your support!
