Famous John is Looking for a Home
Update - November 2015: John found his forever home. His adopter says, "I totally feel like he's the perfect fit and I feel like I've hit the jackpot!" (We do too!)
Leading up to The Rescue Run 5K, John was our spokesdog, appearing in daily PSA's on 6ABC! He was fresh out of the shelter and a little bit shy at first on camera, but has completely blossomed. You can see his on-air performance here. (Not bad considering he was sitting in a kennel at the City's intake shelter just days before!)
He's an active boy and would love to be your running partner. He's dog friendly on-leash and gets very excited to meet new dog friends. (We have a training plan in place for him so he learns how to greet friends calmly. He'll get it! He's just so happy to make friends.)
He's such a socialite! He loves people, but he knows when to chill out and loves to snuggle on the couch with you. He’d be a perfect arm rest or cuddle buddy for a Game of Thrones marathon. John is a small guy with the most amazing ears. He’s also house-trained, crate-trained, and pretty darn smart to boot. And he's under 40lbs for those of you with weight limits at your residence! (Compact cutie!) John is currently living in foster care with a Miler foster, but would love to claim his spot on your couch. Learn more about adopting this big-eared goofball.
