The Rescue Run 5K - Best of Philly 2015
We are thrilled to announce that The Rescue Run 5K was awarded “Best of Philly 2015 - Race for a Cause” by Philadelphia Magazine! The Rescue Run 5K is Philly’s only running race to benefit dog rescue and we are so excited about the 2015 event. Participants, volunteers and spectators can expect an award-winning race and over 30 adoptable dogs waiting for you at the finish line. This year we expect 10+ shelters / rescues to join us on race day!
Registered runners all go home with a custom RR5K tech-tee and have the ability to set up fundraising teams on our state-of-the-art race website. We have some pretty sweet prizes going out to the top fundraising teams and individuals, along with prizes that every fundraising runner will go home with!
The Rescue Run 5K is our main fundraiser for the year and funds our rescue efforts all year long. We can’t do it without the support of the running community! We thank Philadelphia Magazine for recognizing our race, and we’ll be sure to live up to our new title, “Best of Philly 2015!”
