Miranda is for Adoption

UPDATE - Miranda has been adopted!

Meet Miranda! If you're looking for a dog that just goes with the flow, she's your gal. Vet poking and prodding? She'll give you a slow tail wag. Foster dog brother wants to play? She'll engage for a bit and then go relax. Miranda is a laid back dog that loves to spend her days lounging with her people. She's an affectionate cuddlebug and would be a great armrest when you're watching TV or reading a book. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. Miranda is a quick learner and is already working on "sit" and "come". This super sweet girl is looking for her forever family - might that be you?

Breed: Pit bull terrier mix (Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs. We are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.)

Age: 1-2 years old

Weight: 46 pounds

Reason for surrender to shelter: Miranda was found as a stray.

Animal ID #: (A126801)

This pet was pulled from Philadelphia's only public intake shelter and is currently living in foster care through The Monster Milers, a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue organization (www.themonstermilers.org). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the adoption application at http://www.jotform.us/form/42735450707152

All dogs adopted through The Monster Milers will be spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all shots prior to adoption. There is a $250 adoption fee to help cover these costs.
