UPDATE - Lila was adopted in September 2015!
Lila is a beautiful puppy that is the best of both worlds – she’s playful like a puppy but she knows when to listen and likes to have relaxation time. She’s currently living in foster care with two large dogs. She likes to go say hi to them but understands when they need their space and will go lay on a blanket. She’s also had playful and appropriate interactions with dogs when she was at the shelter. Lila is a really affectionate little peanut who would probably like nothing more than to lie across her favorite human on the couch and snuggle. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She also knows “sit” and is working on “stay” and “come”. She always has a wiggle in her step and is happy-go-lucky. Lila is eager to please and would be a great addition to a family who wants a snuggle buddy!
Breed: Pit bull terrier mix (Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs. We are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.)
Age: Less than a year
Weight: 37 pounds
Reason for surrender to shelter: Owner could no longer care for her due to health reasons.
